Meet Our Staff

Shawna Balsiger
Director of Middle School Programs
Shawna Balsiger is The Center’s Director of Middle School Programs. She graduated from Huntington University in 2018 with degrees in Missions and Youth Ministry and joined The Center later that year.
Shawna loves interacting with students at After School Central and hearing their laughter, as she believes in the transformative power of the teenage years. In her free time, Shawna enjoys country walks with her husband, Nick, and their dog, Frannie.

Isaiah Humiston
Whitko Program Director
Isaiah Humiston is The Center’s Whitko Program Director. He graduated from Grace College with a degree in Counseling and a minor in Business, and joined The Center to pursue his passion for serving and loving students.
Isaiah appreciates the supportive, welcoming environment The Center creates, and is especially excited to grow the Ground Zero program while connecting with new students and families. Outside of work, Isaiah enjoys disc golfing and spending time outdoors.
