What To Expect
After School Central (ASC) offers enriching experiences that help your student thrive. All of what we do is designed to nurture their potential and prepare them to become future leaders, providing a safe and supportive environment for young people to grow.
We strongly believe that healthy adult mentoring leads to healthy young people. Our mission is to promot youth development through service, outreach, & collaboration.
Grades 6–8
Free. Every Center program is free to local youth.
The Center, 201 W. Market Street, Columbia City. Use Door 1.
Mondays and Thursdays, 3:45 to 6:00 PM
Getting Started
How Do I Sign Up?
Registration is required for After-School Central. Once you register your student, please allow 48 hours for processing.
Your student can ride bus 33 directly to The Center, courtesy of Whitley County Consolidated Schools but we must have a registration form with consent. Note: Transportation home is not provided, and all students must be picked up by 6:00 p.m.

Wellness Mondays aim to engage students in dynamic learning experiences focused on character development. These sessions delve into essential skills, including social and emotional wellness, effective communication, and health and fitness.

Talent Thursdays
Thursday Schedule
Talent Thursdays aim to help students realize their artistic, athletic, academic, and career potential. On Talent Thursdays, students will receive 30 minutes of guided homework time, followed by 30 minutes of art, sports, or college and career readiness activity.
